A JSON-RPC Relay Community Service
Hashio is a Hashgraph hosted service based on the open-source Hedera JSON-RPC-Relay. It provides a JSON-RPC API interface, on top of Hedera’s native API transactions, that offers a familiar Ethereum-like API.
Hashgraph.com runs a beta deployment of this open source software intended for developers and has global rate limits (limited based on hbars/minute as transaction fees paid by the JSON-RPC relay), and has rate limits on the number of requests that can be made per an IP address (about 100 to 1,600 requests, depending on the endpoint tier, per IP address per minute).
You can learn more about JSON-RPC-Relay on the Hedera Docs.
To contribute feedback or log errors, please submit them as issues in the GitHub repository.
For development and testing purposes only. Production use cases are strongly encouraged to use commercial-grade JSON-RPC relays or host their own instance of the Hedera JSON-RPC Relay.
EVM compatibility
Hashio enables developers to utilize familiar tool sets for building new or porting EVM-based applications faster. Review a list of supported endpoints here.
Wallet support
Use existing JSON-RPC supported wallets, such as Metamask, with the public Hedera previewnet, testnet and mainmet. Hashio supports cryptocurrency transfers and transaction signing, further enabling developers to test EVM-based applications.
Open source
The Relay is open source– anyone can review, compile, fork, and contribute back to the codebase.
